OSU vs, BYU

We had a houseful beginning of October due to the OSU vs. BYU football game. Joseph's family are mostly BYU fans, but some are OSU fans as well. Ever since that weekend Kilynn has been chanting, "B-Y-U! B-Y-U! GO Cougars!" Joseph's brothers and nephews crashed on the living room floor the night before. Game day morning we had all the relatives who had come down for the game over for a big breakfast. I think there were 16 people. Joseph and I have been to quite a few OSU football games now. Campus is a sea of Orange and Black on game days. It was weird going to this game though because there almost seemed to be more blue than orange as we walked to the stadium. You should have seen the numbers at church the next day too!

I think my brother-in-law may watch too much sports or he just has really good eyes. He spotted this famous guy clear across the stadium and knew exactly who he was right away when he was still so far away you could hardly tell if he was human. This picture was taken when he got quite a bit closer. Can you tell who the guy in the white shirt is?

I was prepared to spend most of my time chasing Kilynn around the concessions area the most of the time because I didn't know how long she'd last sitting in those crowded stands. I was ok with that because I'm not a big football fan anyway. It was nice though because she fell asleep for almost the whole first half. A bunch of people left our area for the second half so she had room to run around when she woke up. I was very glad it turned out that way because our seats ended up being and the very very top of the stadium. I barely made it up all those stairs the first time. I didn't want to have to climb up and down them throughout the whole game!

Kilynn loves that Uncle Ben. Don't know why... it's probably because he's always giving her C-A-N-D-Y.
