Fall/Halloween

This wasn't her Halloween costume. She came up with this one on her own. I put this nightgown on her for the first time and told her she looked like a Princess. Later, I found her with this can on her head. She told me it was her crown.
As cute as a bug!!
Joseph even decorated a trick-or-treat bucket for her!
We took her trick-or-treating downtown. She loved the treat Dairy Queen gave out!
I took her around the neighborhood later in the evening. She was pretty apprehensive about everything at first but then she really got into it and did a good job saying "Trick-or Treat!" and "thank you." Toward the end, she started singing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" over and over in between each house at the top of her lungs since she could see all the stars out. It was so cute!!

What's growing on Joseph's face? It's called facial hair. He has to grow it out every year during hunting season. Unfortunately it didn't give him the luck he was hoping for this year. He used to grow out his facial hair and keep it for most of the winter, but he has to keep clean shaven now that he volunteers for the fire department or he can't go out on fire calls. The hair gets in the way of the oxygen masks. (Yay for that says I:)
