Christmas 2011

We got a whole week to spend in E. Oregon. We spent the first half with my parents and had Christmas with them, and spent the second half in LaGrande with Joseph's side of the family. Christmas morning -Santa brought Kilynn a princess chair!
Her favorite present was this Kanga and Roo. I'll do a post sometime about her Pooh Bear obsession. Grandpa Kerns read some Bill Pete books to Kilynn every day. Kilynn loved that and would sit there for as long as Grandpa was willing to read.
...Or for as long as Grandpa was able to read.
The ice skating on the pond was PERFECT this year due to an unusual lack of snow...not that I went ice skating though. Mom wouldn't allow it due to me being almost nine months pregnant. She's so unreasonable sometimes! Uncle Eli was pretty good on his skates though.
Kilynn loved being pulled around on this sled.
Eli and I took turns pulling her.
Her eyes began to close...
...and she was out!
Kilynn and Kiley were so cute playing together. They're going to be great friends.
We got to meet new niece and cousin Lydia Noelle Kerns. Now when I talk to Kilynn about her getting a new baby sister she has a reference. She says, "Baby sisto wike Widia?!"
Joseph trying out his ice skating skills.
Kilynn must have had too much fun at Grandma and Grandpa Waites to fall asleep this way!
This is the hill behind the Waite's house. I climbed it nine months pregnant and holding Kilynn the whole way. Pretty good huh? We turned around and went back at this point though because I had a huge coughing attack. I had a horrible cough the whole time we were home.
Kilynn had fun with her cousins most of the time. She got sick for a couple days though and was not herself. I felt bad that she didn't get to have fun playing with all the kids at the Waite Family reunion they hold every year at the stake center. I ended up holding her the whole time because she was not feeling very well at all. I also felt bad for all the people in the Waite household that Kilynn kept awake almost every night. Sorry!
