Cold Frame
Joseph built this cold frame for our garden. We finally put it out a couple weeks ago. I thought the design was clever. Now we will be able to start some of those later plants outside earlier. We'll see how it works. While I was gone over spring break, all the plants we had planted so far came up. We have onions, peas, lettuce, spinach, radishes and red potatoes so far. We also have garlic and cauliflower from our winter crop. I don't think the cauliflower is going to work out though partly due to deer. Oh well, it's fun to experiment with what we can do down here since it doesn't get as cold.

Very awesome! Isn't it great to have a handy husband? You are in a whole different world than we are! I want your spring!!
BTW, I would love talking to you any day, and it's especially nice on birthdays to know that someone's thinking of you. I loved every minute of talking to you.
Also, did you notice that I got the traffic thing put onto my blog? I find it interesting that it always says I'm from St. Anthony, which is about 15-20 min. away. And I think it's listing you from Lebanon OR. So maybe the people from around your area really are people you know, but it's putting different towns on their traffic feed? Just a thought. We need to have these made here too. I am not sure we will ever get to it though.
