Sisters

More pictures that have slipped through the cracks. Hope I'm not boring you, but it sure feels good to start getting my pictures organized again.
I feel so blessed that Marjorie has been such a good baby because this sister relationship has certainly been quite the challenge. Kilynn just gets so hyper around Marjorie and gets out of hand. Sometimes her abuse happens toward her because she's too excited (which is most often the case), sometimes because she is giving too much love, sometimes because she's jealous (which I actually believe is not usually the case), and sometimes because she wants to satisfy her curiosity and use Marjorie as a scientific experiment. I keep hoping she will grow out of this. We've tried so many different things. It has gotten better... a little, but I think it's just because Marjorie is a little more sturdy now than she was as a newborn. I'm hoping the older Marjorie gets (such as when she starts walking and talking), the more Kilynn will regard her as an actual human being instead of a rag doll. *sigh*

Enjoy pictures of my sweet beautiful daughters!

I happened to have this outfit in newborn size and 24 month. Both hand me downs!

I put Marjorie in this outfit, set her on this blanket and noticed that it looked oddly familiar. They are 2 months apart in these pictures.

Precious Pictures

Marjorie turned eight months old yesterday. Where does time go?! She is such a cute little baby that it is all I can do sometimes to keep from eating her up! I really understand that expression because I really do get the urge sometimes to just take a bite out of her when she's being particulary adorable. For those of you who don't understand that urge, don't be alarmed. I can restrain myself.
This girl has got to win the prize for smiliest baby in the world. She has been so relaxed, content, and happy all her life with only a few exeptions (whenever her unpredictable older sister is too close, and this week with a cold and cutting a tooth).
Marjorie gave up the army crawl a couple weeks ago and has since mastered mobility on hands and knees. She has been having fun exploring the new territory that crawling opens for her.

Mowgli Costume

This week, Kilynn and I have been talking a lot about what she wants to be for Halloween. Today I was having a hard time convincing her to get dressed. She is an independent dresser these days and doesn't like me to help at all! She got as far as taking her pajamas off, but has been running around in her underwear for the last hour or so saying she is Mobley (off of "The Jungle Book"). She doesn't normally get to run around without clothes, but she is just being so imaginative pretending to be Mobley- singing the Bare Necessities and eating a banana etc. I finally told her she needed to get her clothes on so we could go grocery shopping. She said, "I can wear a Mobley costume to the store!"
She actually looks a lot like this picture. Ridiculously skinny in her underpants.
